Seneca – On the Creation of Earthquakes
Set against the backdrop of Rome in 65 AD, the tyrannical rule of Emperor Nero has reached its peak, with his insatiable indulgence and excessive behavior sparking opposition and conspiracies against his reign. Determined to cling to his despotic claim of sovereignty, Nero resorts to desperate measures to defend his power. Seneca, the renowned philosopher who had been Nero’s teacher, mentor, and trusted advisor since childhood, finds himself at the center of this treacherous web. However, Nero’s growing weariness of Seneca prompts him to exploit a failed assassination attempt on his own life, falsely accusing Seneca of being an accomplice in a shocking act of betrayal.
